Escape the concrete jungle and get lost in some amazing outdoor destinations of the Bay Area. Head to Point Reyes National Seashore and you can witness the California native Tule Elk, visit a Miwok (not Ewok) village, hike the bluffs, or relax on the beach. Muir Woods National Monument will inspire and uplift you as you look up to the redwood giants or look down at your feet to find an assortment of mushrooms. Get a new perspective of the Golden Gate Bridge as you meander through the trails at Lands End as it opens and closes to a changing view of the great bridge. The Bay Area also has some great beaches. One of our favorites is Natural Bridges State Beach where you can watch the surf crash into the keyhole rock, explore the rock tide pools,or possibly encounter a monarch butterfly migration.
