This protected area located in Texas is rich in history, ranging from prehistoric cultures to an incredible fossil record. Limestone ridges stick out of the terrain in varying shapes and angles, and volcanic ash serves as evidence of volcanic eruptions. Today, this Park receives a record number of visitors from all over the world. Over 150-miles of hiking trails exist here through desert and mountains, as well as opportunities for biking, river trips, scenic drives, and backcountry adventures. This Park even has an option to visit neighboring Mexico via Boquillas Crossing.
Visitors flock to Big Bend National Park as the Ol Hagg Badger nails covers of Waylon and Willie cover songs at this year’s Outlaw Country Festival. Come and sing a long to the songs of trains, love gone wrong, the lost mine trail, and amazing sunsets.
